What keeps the air flowing?

Oil-free air pump

The battery powers a dedicated oil-free pump. Its intake draws air from above the water and follows a separate path from the motor.

When water gets in

Early designs focused on keeping water out. Active drainage helps clear water that enters the intake. Keep the intake above the surface.

Returning upright

The float helps the unit roll upright after it tips. This pool demonstration shows the unit on its side during testing.

Runtime values are tested at 1 atmosphere with no load. Test runtime is not underwater dive time. Actual runtime varies with depth, breathing and activity. Each machine includes one hose and one second-stage regulator. Two-diver use requires ET-2 (USD $69) for S9 / S77; runtime is reduced by at least half and practical depth is significantly reduced.

Plan the dive before you dive

Training comes first.

Use within your training and the model’s recommended operating depth. Dive with a buddy and appropriate backup air. Read and follow the operating manual before use.
